Converting your warning line systems to a guardrail

Obviously, your needs will change over time. That’s why we’ve developed a warning line systems that can easily be converted to a roof guardrail with 100 % shared components. By replacing steel cables with our traditional aluminum tubes, we are transforming visual protection into complete fall protection for a fraction of the cost!

VSS SAFETYLINE

– for Canadian Building Standard (Comply with Quebec OHS)

In this configuration, the VSS SafetyLine have one base per vertical post. The posts at the ends of the bump line must have two bases.The maximum spacing between two posts is 8′ and only one yellow nylon flag is required between the vertical posts. This is the configuration of the bump line according to the RSST.

VSS SAFETYLINE

– for OSHA

In this configuration, the VSS SafetyLine must have one base per vertical post and the maximum spacing between two posts is 25′. This is the configuration of the bump line according to the OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration of United States Department of Labor).

Maintaining the integrity of the waterproof membrane is essential to protect the building envelope. That’s why the VSS SafetyLine warning line systems is freestanding: its base acts as a counterweight, enabling it to comply with the permanent warning line standards.

 

Guaranteed durability

To eliminate rust, inevitable with a steel base, or the risk of breakage of a concrete base, our warning line systems use an eco-friendly and patented recycled rubber base. This dual connector connects two straight sections of a warning line.

 This connector connects two warning line sections and creates a 90° corner.

This connector is used at the beginning and end of each permanent warning line. It can be installed on an independent vertical pole or on a Delta Prevention guardrail section.
