Features

A freestanding guardrail is a fast, efficient and inexpensive method to eliminate the risks of falls in a specific area or on the whole perimeter of the roof. Since it uses a weighted base system acting as a counterweight, no perforation of the roof membrane is necessary for its installation; the components are simply deposited on the roof. The freestanding guardrail complies with all CNESST and National Building Code standards. Designed for permanent use, the perforation-free railing can also be used on a temporary basis. That's why Delta Prevention's VSS System is the most versatile on the market.

The most versatile roof guardrail system on the market

All roofs over 10′ have falling hazards to eliminate, but each is different. To adapt to all risk situations on all roofs, Delta Prevention has developed two configurations using the same patented recycled rubber base. These two configurations can be used independently on the same building or can be combined to maximize their benefits.

Linear configuration to secure a minimum of 10 feet up to your entire perimeter without any full height return. An installation that is more in harmony with the visual aspect of the building to be protected.

VSS COMPACT

Ideal configuration when floor space is reduced between the units to be protected and the parapet. A return of only 5 feet is required at each end, regardless of length, and at each 40 feet when there is no parapet.

The security gate protects access to the roof such as ladders or access hatches. Mounted on springs, it closes automatically. The safety gate is adjustable from 22.75 “to 26.5”.	The variable angle junction creates a multitude of angles to suit all situations.	Allows you to finish a railing on a wall or to fix it to the ground when necessary.	The toe board or kick plate prevents tools or other accessories from accidentally falling off the roof when there is no parapet.
