At the end of February 2020, the plant's construction and layout process requires the acquisition and installation of a freestanding mezzanine.The project manager, an engineer, is therefore contacting MSK Canada via our website to obtain a quote. Our representative responsible for this territory communicates with the client and the quote is sent on March 3rd. Two days later, the client places the order and production begins.
Quebec on break
Two weeks after the start of production, Quebec, like the rest of the world, is put on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic and production is stopped. Since the client is part of the services considered essential and must maintain its activities, a person in charge contacts us to see what we can do to help.
Final situation
With the collaboration of the entire supply chain, from the raw material (steel) to the mezzanine manufacturers and our installation team, the mezzanine was installed on April 10, 2020. That's a statutory holiday in the midst of a pandemic. Thanks to high hygiene measures and a corporate culture focused on health and safety, the installation took place under conditions that allowed our employees to work safely and prevent any risk of contagion. As a result, the client was able to maintain operations and continue to provide an essential asset to the population during this challenging and uncertain period.
